AbOUT THE OWNER

Tina (Stewart) Plank is a graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School ('92). She attended Delaware County Community College and obtained an associate degree in early childhood education. From there Tina went on to teach preschool for 6 years. After 6 years, Tina left the field of education to immerse herself in corporate America, in hopes of making enough money to return to her passion, early childhood education and development. Tina earned a certificate Computer Technical Support and Network Engineering at the CHUBB Institute and went on to work in the Information Technology field, where she started as entry level Help Desk Support and worked her way to Network Managment. After earning and saving enough money, cashing in stocks and her 401K, Tina Plank made her dream come true. Tiny Miracles Learning Center became a reality in 2007. Since then, Ms. Plank completed her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education administration at Ashford University and master's degree in PreK and Primary Education at NOVA Southeastern University. She also holds a PA Private School Teaching Certification. Tina's passion evolved over the years with a focus in early childhood social emotional development, behavior difficulties, anxiety disorder, ADHD, ODD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. As the world and society changes, so does the social emotional development of our youngest children. Since opening my doors in 2007, Tina and her staff have been welcomed into the lives of the most amazing children and families and we can not thank them enough for their trust and support.

Our Mission Statement

Tiny Miracles Learning Center provides a safe, loving, nurturing environment. Our focus is to also provide a developmentally/age-appropriate curriculum where children can explore the world around them and learn through play. We strive to provide a stimulating experience which promotes children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. We pride ourselves in our inclusive environment where children are children and not a label or diagnosis.

Our Philosophy

Tiny Miracles Learning Center was opened to provide an enriched environment for children in their earliest stages of life, which benefits their intellectual, physical, emotional, and social development. During the crucial early years, children develop characteristics which will affect their lifelong love of learning.

Tiny Miracles has created an environment that has the children and their families identified as the focus. The staff believes that each family brings to the program values, language, diversity, and traditional customs and therefore, recognizes the importance of forming a partnership with families to create a positive experience for all children.

The program does not discriminate on the basis of sex, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic group identification, race, ancestry, national origin, religion, color, or mental or physical disability, in determining which children are served. Family participation, in the classroom and through technology, provides opportunities for family members to observe their child's behavior in a formal learning environment and supports the continued learning in the home.
